Longevity & Fitness

Recent research has shown that incorporating some form of exercise into our daily lives can not only improve our physical health, keep our brain functioning properly and increase our longevity. By incorporating strength training, cardio, and flexibility exercises, we can improve our muscle mass, cardiovascular health, and range of motion...and the cognitive ability to know when it's time to tie our shoe.

Yoga, in particular, has been shown to reduce stress and improve mood, which can have a direct impact on our overall health and longevity as well as our ability to maintain relationships...making no promises here!

According to Rich Roll, a renowned plant-based fitness and wellness expert, "exercise is a powerful tool for reversing the aging process" Say no more, that guy is living proof!

Andrew Huberman, a neuroscientist and professor of neurobiology at Stanford University, also stresses the importance of exercise for longevity. He states that "exercise is one of the most powerful tools we have to enhance brain health, improve mood and reduce the risk of age-related diseases such as Alzheimer's and Parkinson's.

David Sinclair, a Harvard professor and leading researcher in the field of aging, also emphasizes the importance of exercise for longevity. He states that "exercise is one of the most potent anti-aging interventions that we know of." Sinclair believes that regular exercise can help to activate certain genes that promote longevity and improve overall health.

We know what we have to do and remember that each time you hit the mat, gym, track or what ever your modality is, action is an act of honoring ourselves.'
